Experimental Music Unit

The Experimental Music Unit is Paul Walde (bass guitar, percussion), Tina Pearson (flute, voice, accordion, tuned glass); George Tzanetakis (bass clarinet, clarinet, alto sax), with Kirk McNally (audio engineer, live processing). Based in Victoria, Canada, the trio formed in 2012, and since then has engaged in a regular exploratory music and sound art improvisation practice that informs its projects and the artistic direction of LASAM, an experimental music and sound art organization.
