Drift

A series of wall mountable painted shaped wooden panels, modeled on the wave patterns of drifting snow. While the white undulating surface is minimal in appearance, it belies a complex underlying structure which supports the smooth surface treatment. The works are a meditation on the potential to create meaning through the customization of every component of a typical painting support surface.
